LONG-TERM COMMITMENT TO FOREST MANAGEMENT STANDARD
As per Concession and Lease Agreement (CA) signed between the Government of Rwanda (GoR) and Ultimate Forests Company Limited (UFCL); UFCL is committed to manage the Forest in accordance with all material respects with applicable best management practices for forestry issued by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) and in a manner that meets the requirements for compliance with the regulations of any relevant Government Authority.
Our Operations
Sawmill — Gatare and Nyanza
A sawmill operates near the Nyungwe buffer zone in Gatare Sector, Nyamagabe District.
The Nyanza factory in the Southern province treats wooden poles and sawn timber using state-of-the-art equipment like dry kilns, Wood-Mizer, and molder machines to meet market demands for quantity and quality.
Kigali Shop — Gisozi
Clients can find treated timber at our factory in Nyanza, southern Province or at our timber shop situated in Gakinjiro Gisozi, Kigali's timber business centre.
